Pregnancy Symptoms

A woman may suspect that she is pregnant if she feels early pregnancy symptoms. A missed period may be a good sign for pregnancy. However, a positive pregnancy result is needed in order for this sign to be definitive. Aside from a missed period, other pregnancy symptoms can also be noticed early. A pregnant woman may experience that she has to go to the bathroom often. This is due to the human chorionic gonadotropin hormone or hCG. This may be disturbing for some women because it can interfere with sleep patterns. It is also common for some women to experience fatigue. Women may find that they tire too easily, or they won’t have enough energy to do their usual activities.

Another very common symptom is morning sickness. In spite of its name, some women may be surprised that their queasy feeling lasts throughout the day. Women can actually adjust by paying attention to what triggers their nausea and vomiting. It may also help if a woman adjusts her activities, as well as her food preferences, in order to minimize morning sickness. Pregnant women may also find that they have extremely tender breasts. The pain can be compared to the way you feel before your period when hormonal changes occur. Although this may happen early on, it will not last long because once your body has adjusted to the changes of pregnancy, the pain will subside.

Although these are the earliest pregnancy symptoms, not all women can have them. Pregnancy is different for each individual, and it will never be the same as well for succeeding pregnancies. These pregnancy symptoms may cause discomfort, however it is a welcome progress that you are on your way to a healthy pregnancy.
